Today, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the International Cyber Academy and the Association of Ukrainian Banks.

The main goal of this cooperation is to establish conditions for the cyber-secure functioning of Ukraine’s financial market in line with European and international standards, to foster the development of digital services, and to strengthen the digital competencies of the staff of Ukrainian financial institutions and the AUB itself.
In today’s environment, when not only the financial system but also the entire critical infrastructure of the country faces daily destructive hybrid impacts on the information and cyberspace, special attention must be paid to strengthening the resilience of both IT systems and personnel.

Another key challenge is the need for the rapid implementation of legislative changes in accordance with EU Directives. This is particularly important in cyberspace and the development of digital services, since integration into the European community is not only about opportunities but also about clear obligations.
By uniting our efforts, we are building the capacity for Ukraine’s sustainable development as part of the European Union.
By the end of this year, we plan to implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity resilience of the financial sector through specialized cyber trainings, seminars, and conferences involving key experts and international partners.
